The first day of cycling takes you through the rolling landscapes of Angus and the Mearns. Today’s ride has two big challenges: the climbs of Cairn O’Mount and the Lecht (the second highest public road in the UK). You finish in the Speyside whisky village of Tomintoul.

on the ride – mountains, lochs, castles. We even passed a church with bagpipes playing. The support that Skinny Tyres provided along the way, including GPS maps, mechanical assistance, refuelling stations and nice accommodation made all of our rides run seamlessly. I can’t recommend Skinny Tyres highly enough and hope to return for another tour sometime.
